BUSES

Make use of our designated Highlife New Year’s Eve charter bus service with options out of Auckland Central City, Takapuna, Matakana, Omaha, Leigh, Whangateau, Snells Beach, Warkworth and Mangawhai.

Transport Information

• All Highlife New Year’s Eve charter bus tickets are return tickets.
• Bus Tickets are available on a first in first served basis so get yours quick!
• Buses begin loading 15 minutes prior to departure time.
• These buses are not licensed, so please do not drink alcohol on board the buses.
• Please present your ticket on arrival. This can either be via your electronic device or printed.
• There will be Highlife staff at the Auckland and Takapuna destinations so please look out for the Highlife t-shirt.
• Omaha, Snells Beach, Leigh, Matakana, Warkworth and Mangawhai Buses will not have Highlife staff at the bus stops but these buses will have Highlife NYE signage displayed as official Highlife NYE buses.
• If you do not have a bus ticket and need a way to get home, providing there is space on the bus you will be able to purchase a ticket from our staff on the front gate. However, we do recommend pre purchasing tickets to avoid disappointment.
• Bayes Coachlines will be providing all of the buses for this event, except for Mangawhai. Please keep an eye out for these Buses at your departure points.
• At the end of the night, all buses will be departing from the main gate from 12am onwards. Please ensure you look for the sign of your destination.

Buses – Auckland City

Location: Bus Stop 7036 – Fanshawe St Near Victoria Park, Auckland CBD.

Departure Times: 3.00pm, 3.30pm & 4.00pm.

Price: $50 + bf return 

Buses – Takapuna

Location: Takapuna Bus Station Platform 3 – Bus Stop 3381. Outside Shore City shopping centre corner of Lake Street and Anzac Street.

Departure Time: 3.00pm.

Price: $50 + bf return

Buses – Matakana

Location: Matakana Primary School, 952 Matakana Road.

Departure Times: 3:15pm, 4:15pm, 5:15pm & 6.15pm.

Price: $25 + bf return 

Buses – Omaha

Location: Omaha Beach Shops, Matariki Street. (Next to the Surf Club)

Departure Times: 3.00pm, 4.00pm, 5.00pm & 6.00pm

Price: $30 + bf return 

Buses – Leigh + Whangateau 

Location: Leigh Shops (in front of Leigh General Store). 16 Cumberland Street, Leigh. This Bus will stop off outside the entry to Whangateau holiday park on the way to Matakana and on the way back after the event.

Departure Times: 3.00pm, 4.00pm, 5.00pm & 6.00pm

Price: $35 + bf return 

Buses – Snells Beach

Location: Mahurangi Community Centre. 21 Hamatana Road, Snells Beach

Departure Times: 3.00pm, 4.00pm, 5.00pm & 6.00pm.

Price: $30 + bf return 

Buses – Warkworth

Location: i-Site Warkworth Information Centre, 1 Baxter Street Warkworth

Departure Times: 4.00pm, 5.00pm & 6.00pm.

Price: $25 + bf return 

Buses – Mangawhai

Location: Foursquare Mangawhai Heads, 2 Wood street, Mangawhai Heads. Pick up location will be in the carpark next to Foursquare Mangawhai Heads.

Departure Times: 4.00pm, 4.30pm

Price: $55 + bf return

Private Shuttle Service

Mai Ride will be available for Highlife New Year’s Eve as a shuttle provider for the event. Mai Ride offers a door-to-door service from key locations around the Matakana Region and will be transporting guests to and from the venue throughout the night. This service uses quality vehicles and friendly reliable staff, so you can be assured of a safe and enjoyable journey pre and post event.

Parking

Parking is available for all Highlife New Years Eve event guests opposite the main entry of the venue.

• No loitering is permitted in the carpark.
• Vehicles should be removed from the Car park no later than 5pm, January 1st. Vehicles left on site will be towed at owner’s expense.
• Highlife Entertainment takes no responsibility for vehicles parked at the event.
• A $10 cash only charge applies for car parking upon arrival.
